Paneer Jalfrezi is one of the top Indian recipes made by Sajni Datwani. It is a spicy version of Paneer recipe cooked with onions, tomatoes and bell peppers. Here are the other essential ingredients that make this dish an ultimate recipe.





  • Three or four onions, slightly chopped.

  • ½ tsp ground turmeric

  • Two tsp Kashmiri chili powder and toasted ground cumin seeds

  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • One dried red chili broke

  • ½ capsicum sliced and ¼ tsp garam masala powder

  • Salt to taste

  • Two tsp lemon juice and one tomato, finely chopped

How to cook?

  • First of all, heat oil and saute onions.

  • Next, add ginger garlic paste & deep-fry well.

  • Add tomato and saute till they turn soft & sappy.

  • After this, add spice powder and salt.

  • Blend to smooth paste without adding any water and keep it aside.

  • Now, heat some oil.

  • Add dry red chili, ginger julienne, and cumin seeds.

  • After this, add thinly sliced onion & fry for approx. 1 minute.

  • Also, add sliced capsicum & keep on to saute.

  • Add prepared masala paste, tomato sauce and salt to taste.

  • Now, add Paneer pieces & finely sliced tomato.

  • Now add garam masala powder and lemon juice.

  • Finally, serve Paneer Jalfrezi with rice, roti or naan.
